What does Al9annas mean, and how is it spelled?
Al9annas is the Arabic القنّاص, "the hunter" (a sniper, in the Hunter × Hunter sense of chasing chapters). The 9 stands for the Arabic letter ق in chat spelling, which is why people also write 9annas, Al9anas, Al Qannas, El Qannas, Alkannas or simply Manga Hunter. They are all the same app: Al9annas, the manga hunter for Arabic, French and English readers.
Is Al9annas free?
Yes. Every series starts with free chapters and the rest are unlocked with hunter points you earn by reading, logging in daily, or watching an optional ad. Professional Hunter is a paid tier for unlimited reading without ads.
Which languages does the manga app support?
Arabic, French and English. Each language has its own catalog built from sources in that language, not a machine translation. Arabic is the default with a right-to-left interface.
Is it available in Morocco, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the UAE?

Do I need an account?
No. You can read as a guest. Signing in with Google, Facebook or X syncs your library, progress and hunter points across devices.
Where do the chapters come from?
Al9annas indexes chapters that scan communities publish and links to their sources, in Arabic, French and English. If a source drops a chapter, the app finds it at another one.
Does it work offline?
The last catalog and your library are cached, so the app opens and shows your reading without a connection. Chapters load when you are online.
Is it called Al9annas, 9annas or Kanass?
Same app. The Arabic name is القناص (al-Qannas, "the hunter"); in Latin letters it is written 9annas or Al9annas — the 9 stands for the Arabic letter qaf — and some people spell it Kanass or Qannas. The official site is 9annas.app.
